He also hosts a conservative talk show on the SiriusXM satellite radio network and recently criticized the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as “the largest Democrat money-laundering operation in history.”
Praise for Poland’s president, criticism for opposition
Rose has frequently commented on Polish affairs, lauding President Andrzej Duda for preventing what he called a potential rift in U.S.-Poland relations. He chastised former Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s government over controversial remarks involving Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and defended Poland against erroneous foreign media reports linking Polish resistance forces to suppression of the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
A staunch supporter of Israel, Rose has sharply criticized President Joe Biden for what he terms “pro-Palestinian sympathies,” and has argued in favor of robust assistance for Ukraine, rejecting the notion—floated by some—including Trump himself—that NATO provoked the conflict with Russia.
Business, media, and diplomatic background
From 1997 to 2005, Rose was publisher and CEO of The Jerusalem Post. Previously, he served in Indiana state government, worked as a journalist for Japanese television in the 1980s, and authored the nonfiction book Big Miracle, which became a Hollywood film in 2012.
He is also known for his outspoken Zionist views and identifies as an Orthodox Jew.
