Sales of clothing and shoes increased 18.9 percent last month in year-on-year terms, and those of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics rose by 6.1 percent, the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.
Meanwhile, sales of furniture, household appliances and consumer electronics went down by 7.6 percent, and those of motor vehicles decreased 6.4 percent, according to Statistics Poland.
In terms of current prices, retail sales last month were 18.4 percent higher than in November 2021, Statistics Poland said.
In month-on-month terms, retail sales in November were 0.3 percent lower than in October, the statistics office also reported.
