BALANCE Spotify marks 10 years in Poland

The global streaming service Spotify earlier this year marked 10th anniversary of its presence on the Polish market. In 2022, Polish songs on Spotify were streamed 17 billion times, compared to a 'mere' 179 million plays at the end of 2013. In the first year of Spotify’s operation in Poland, there were only five songs by local artists in the Top 100 charts - the number which stood at 76 in 2022.
