Beata Abramowicz flew from Milan to Hollywood with her team working for the Italian fashion house to create a gown for one of this year's nominees, as reported by the American correspondent for RMF FM.
The Polish fashionista emphasizes that she cannot reveal the name of the star she is dressing until the last moment.
In an interview with Paweł Żuchowski, she shared insights into the preparation process of the gown and where the final adjustments are made.
The 97th Academy Awards will be hosted for the first time by American comedian, writer, and TV host Conan O'Brien on Sunday, March 2.
This year, in addition to The Girl with the Needle, another Polish-involved film, Porcelain War, is competing for an Oscar.
The movie, featuring animations created at a Warsaw studio, is a strong contender for Best Documentary Feature, thanks to its unique symbolic portrayal of Ukraine's history through the animated porcelain figures central to the narrative.
