Russian casualty toll in Ukraine rises to 837,610: report

Around 837,610 Russian troops have been either killed or wounded in Ukraine since Vladimir Putin invaded the country in February 2022, according to Ukrainian military authorities.

The Russians have also lost 9,893 tanks, 20,631 armoured fighting vehicles and 22,445 artillery systems during their military campaign in Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Friday, as cited by state news agency Ukrinform.

On Thursday, Ukrainian forces killed or wounded 1,670 Russian soldiers, according to the ukrinform.net website.

Other Russian losses in Ukraine include 1,265 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,050 air defence systems, 369 warplanes, 331 helicopters, 28 warships, and 23,573 unmanned aerial vehicles, ukrinform.net reported.
