Massive Russian nighttime drone attack on Ukraine

Russia has carried out yet another massive barbaric drone attack last night, hitting civilian targets in multiple Ukrainian cities. Successful defence was made more difficult by Ukraine's recent cut-off from the US intelligence data, on the orders of Donald Trump.

As Kyiv reported, though - its military still managed to down 79 of 145 drones launched by Moscow. Some of the remaining Russian UAVs were also damaged by an electronic barrier.

Russian drones targeted, among others, the Donetsk region - and the Kremlin forces also used missiles and ballistic missiles there. As a result of Moscow's troops shelling Ukrainian civilian targets in the city of Dobropol, 11 people were killed, including children, and at least 30 were injured. 3 civilians were also killed as a result of the Russian drone attack in the Kharkiv region.

"This is what happens when someone calms down the barbarians. More bombs, more aggression, more victims" - Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk ​​wrote on social media, commenting on Ukraine's night tragedy.

"Russian missiles are constantly falling on Ukraine, bringing more victims and destruction. Putin has shown once again that he is not interested in peace. We must increase our military support - otherwise even more Ukrainian civilians will pay the ultimate price" declared the European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, in the context of the attack on her social media.
