On Monday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, participated in signing agreements with the Polish defense industry in Stalowa Wola, located in the southeastern part of the country.
Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz highlighted that the contract will create tens of thousands of jobs and involve many companies contributing to weapon production.
He thanked Polish citizens and taxpayers, emphasizing that their support makes the transformation of Poland’s military possible, including the purchase of 96 Krabs and dozens of accompanying vehicles, as well as another agreement for 250 support vehicles for the K9 howitzers.
Poland opens new outer road and honors soldiers supporting Ukraine
Earlier, Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz inaugurated the northern bypass of Kraków. Starting today, drivers have access to a 25 km section of the S7 expressway, which allows for a direct drive from this area in the southern part of Poland to the capital, Warsaw, entirely on a fast road.
Just before Christmas Eve, the head of Poland's Ministry of National Defense met with Polish soldiers serving alongside allies at POLLOGHUB. This mission enables international military and humanitarian aid to reach Ukraine, which is defending itself against Russian aggression.
"During this holiday season, let us remember those who are guarding our safety in many places across Poland and the world, proudly serving under the flag," the minister urged.
