Sikorski will also deliver a lecture on European security prospects and visit Pembroke College at the University of Oxford, where he studied in the 1980s.

Polish foreign ministry spokesman Paweł Wroński said Sikorski and Lammy would review ongoing support for Ukraine and preparations for the upcoming "EU Big Five plus UK" meeting, set for late March in Madrid.

Sikorski will also address the Royal College of Defence Studies about Europe's security outlook, and hold bilateral talks with diplomats and politicians.

During his trip, the Polish foreign minister will revisit his alma mater, Pembroke College,  from which he graduated in 1986 with a degree in philosophy, politics and economics.

On Friday evening, Sikorski will be awarded the title of honorary fellow.

Upcoming Madrid talks

Wroński told reporters that a meeting of the EU Big Five—Poland, Germany, France, Italy and Spain—is scheduled for March 31 in Madrid.

The meeting will also be attended by Britain’s Lammy, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, and EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.

Previous such gatherings took place in Warsaw, Berlin and Paris.
