Born in Szczecin in northwestern Poland, Piotrowski began his career with Kotwica Kołobrzeg before moving to Pogoń Szczecin, where he spent most of his playing years.

He appeared in 128 matches for Pogoń and played a total of 153 games in Poland’s top league, scoring eight goals.

His career also included stints with Stal Mielec and Lech Poznań, showcasing his versatility and experience in Polish football.

Pogoń Szczecin commemorated Piotrowski in a heartfelt statement, expressing profound sadness and extending condolences to his family.

Lech Poznań also paid tribute, acknowledging his contributions to the club’s history.

Piotrowski’s death marks a deep loss for the Polish football community.
